Computer Issues
I am having some internet connection issues with my home computer right now. Grrrr! The diagnosis is a hardware issue!!!! Yikes!!! So that means I am going to be without my notebook for up to two weeks!!! Thankfully I still have some access, but I am already feeling the withdraw pains!
Cooming soon!
I realized I never create two page sketches, but yet I know several scrappers who only do 2 page 12x12 layouts when the scrap. So I have decided to draw up some of my sketches both ways. Hopefully I'll make a few of you 2 pagers happy!!! I'll post my first one this Friday!!

Creative Scrappers 28 Hour Contest Winner
This Layout Makes Me Laugh!
Layout Based on My Username
This isn't the best photo, but I just had to scrap it since it allowed me to use my username as the title! I made this layout using a pageset made by my fellow scrapper and friend Collen! And the blue metalic paper was a gift from another scrapping friend, Bonnie! Thanks ladies! (2rowdyboys is my username on most scrapbooking forums.)
One more CJ page
This is my newest CJ page for my friend and group drive Nicki @ scrapbook.com! It is only the first page of a two page layout based on the the theme "_____ Makes My Heart Sing". I used my favorite recent picture of me and my DH! This photo totally inspired for Nicki's CJ! As I was looking at it I realized that the love I have for my husband is what provided me with all the things I cherish most in my life!
The design of this layout was inspired by requirements for a recent challenge where I had to use items representing the letters of my name plus 1 piece of cards stock.
J- Journal card
0- organza sheer ribbon
D- DCWV paper (red)
I - Ink
E- Embroidery Floss
Maximizing Your Materials
I love to get the most out of my scrapbooking materials! I 'm not sure if I am thrifty or just cheap, lol! I am thinking of using this as a theme for one of my scrapbooking classes at my LSS, For Keepsakes!
Here is an example:
I created 2 layouts and 3 cards from 4 sheets of cs, 3 sheets of pp, and a few embellies! (I tend to leave my cards blank then just add the sentiment when I know what I need it for.) Not only do I feel like I get more for my money, but I use up those scraps instead of throwing them away or saving them for later! Just don't flip my layouts over and look at all the missing paper!

Weekend Update
So my lasik surgery went well. The experience wasn't quite what I expected but I have a filling that the tornado warnings and 2 hour bumper to bumper drive home had something to do with that!!! The results however are excellent. After just 12 hours I had 20/20 vision and they say it can continue to improve over the next 3 months.
Scrapwise, my most recent commitment is to teach 2 classes a month at my LSS! It should be tons a fun. My first class will be called Creating from Sketches! I plan on using some of my own sketches (of course), but Becky Fleck from pagemaps.com was nice enough to give me permission to use her sketch from my June guest design spot. Thanks BECKY!
